Help! No idea what to do!

<p>I found out a week ago that the college I was transferring to rescinded me because I didnt meet the terms (had to drop a class spring semester) (SLO). I have been trying to petition any class I can for the fall, but to no avail. </p>

<p>I feel I need to raise my GPA for the next application cycle to be competitive again, but they only look up to your fall grades for GPA calculation. </p>

<p>I was thinking about working full time this semester, and then retaking a few classes in the spring.</p>

<p>Is there anything I can do (that im missing or havent considered) to work towards getting a spot in college in the fall?</p>

<p>As of right now my gpa is a 2.8, but if I retake 2 classes it will shoot up to a 3.2.</p>

<p>^UCs only allow you to replace failed grades with passing ones, is that what you will be doing?</p>

<p>What about winter session? Does your school have winter session to make up that class?</p>
