Maybe Rowan just started reviewing applications and sending decisions out. I applied 10 days ago to be exact and was notified today (through mail). I am guessing the decisions will be coming in the next couple of weeks.
Rowan operates on a “semi-rolling” admissions process says Al Betts, the university’s Director of Admissions. Strong candidates who apply early can be admitted earlier; decisions may be rendered as early as mid-October. Rowan does not ask applicants to declare a major; as much as a quarter of the class enters undecided. Decisions on borderline applications are not rushed.

I applied in the middle of December. I emailed admissions asking to check my application status on January 3rd, and they replied saying it was in processing for review. I hope it doesn’t come after March. It is my top school so I am extremely nervous.
I submitted my application on 1/15/16, and just received my admissions letter/scholarship package/honors invitation today in the mail. It was a surprisingly quick process for me! Sorry for those of you who haven’t heard back yet. Please keep everyone posted on your status.
I haven’t filed FAFSA yet, so the merit scholarships appear to be separate from actual fin aid.
Stats:
OOS, offered $15,000/year
Applied and accepted as Biophysics major
SAT: 770 CR, 760 W, 670 M (1440 combined)

FAFSA does not affect merit aid. You can receive merit aid without even filing a FAFSA form.
