Help! No Test Center Available!

Well, it seems like today was too late for me to register for the June 7th test. The closest test centers (I was only about to do a state-wide search, so I'm hoping that's not omitting anything) are 1-2 hours away.

I was planning on taking the SAT II Physics test next month, then the biology test sometime in the fall, maybe the SAT Reasoning again if my scores turn out to be bad (will find out by the 22nd).

So at this point, what should I do?
Travel 1-2 hours for a 1 hour test? Or just hold it off until fall?

Thanks for the help! :)

well it's up to you. if you feel ready for the test then take it .
probably I'll have to go to the test center far away from my home too. :(

Another option:
register for whatever test center is available and go to the center closest to you (it will set you back for $21).

Is it certain that I will be able to test there?

Same problem here :( My testing centre apparently isn't available, and the closest one I can go to is about 2 hour drive + 3 hour ferry ride from here QEFIOJQF

You can do some sort of standby thing for a nearby test center. There's no guarantee you can take the test there, however, so it depends on whether you're really set on taking a test at a particular time of year. My S had to travel an hour to take his subject tests last year, and it was a drag. He took 3 that day - the third was too much, and it showed in his score relative to his others.

So, I registered, but now it's not telling me about my test center at all. What could this mean?

Sorry, I should've specified - not a 100% guarantee, but very close to it.
There are always extra test booklets at the test center, some people don't come, and you are seated before all the standbys.
