I am in such an awful place right now in terms of college and desperately need advice. I pretty much bombed my freshman year due to depression and a death in the family, and so after taking 1 1/2 off, I am ready to go back and finally get my degree. I graduated highschool with a 3.7 GPA so I am not stupid...just had a rough start to college. My plan is to get a degree in communications, focusing on advertising or public relations. I would like to be somewhere in an urban environment. My issue though is finding a school that will allow me to take non degree courses for a semester with the hope of transferring into their full time program in fall 2012. NEED ADVICE AND EXPERIENCE FROM ANYONE PLEASE!!
