In was accepted into the above two schools, but am really having trouble deciding which ton attend. Right now, I'm thinking of majoring in bio or neuroscience and maybe doubling in Econ. I know berkeley has an extremely strong bio program, but my concern is that people have told me that I may have to do extra work in the summer in order to graduate in four years because it is hard to get into classes.

Financial aid isn't a concern

Thanks guys!!!

I have the exact same decision except that they ended up being nearly the same price for me. ahhh deadlines approaching

berkeley’s econ is pretty well regarded as well.

what kind of college culture are you looking for?

If you plan accordingly, graduating in four years or under will be a cinch. If that is the greatest of your concerns, I would go for Berkeley.

i’m doubling econ and bio both are great programs at cal, excellent faculty and great research opportunities

And I wasted a good amount of time freshman year, took classes one summer, but can graduate a semester early with honors in both major if I want. It’s not very hard to get into classes at all and both majors are pretty flexible in their requirements. I know I always end up enrolled in 5 or more classes every semester and have to decide which one to drop.
