help..NYU

Ive been wanting to go to NYU for the longest but i have pretty subpar test scores. I'm a black female from Miami, Fl. President of the NHS and Publicity Commissioner for SGA. I worked, volunteered, I tutor, and all that good stuff. I have a 4.7 GPA W. and a 3.8 GPA U.W. my sat scores are 1170/1600 and a 1720/2400 and a 25 on my ACT. I'm taking my Subject tests in October so I don't have those available yet. I'm taking those Princeton Review classes to up my SAT scores. Also, I go to a pretty new school inmy hometown (my class will be the second graduating class) So im pretty much in leadership positions in the small amount of clubs we do have. Im ranked 3rd (gonna be second after this grading period) I have taken all the AP/Honors courses that my school provides so I'm in the most rigorous curriculum provided.

Anyone's input? be nice

Improving your test scores will help a lot, so that's smart to take classes to do so. Your grades are definitely good, though. A few more ECs wouldn't hurt, either. And not to sound superficial, but NYU (colleges in general, actually) love(s) minorities.

We'll that's another problem. My school is fairly new so the ECs are pretty limited

You should at least get into GSP.

That whole GSP thing seems a little shady to me...

Anyone else?
