I am also working on my Daughters 529, and I entered the 1099-Q Tution expenses , but is NOT prompting to enter any Room and Board expenses.
Did you do it in a separate form?</p>
<p>This thread is 2 years old and some of the rules of qualified higher education expenses have changed since the 2008 tax year. Room and board are qualified expenses. Here are the rules:</p>
