help on (animator) artist's/personal statement

Alrighty, so this is my first thread on this website and i'm crossing my fingers that i'll get better answers and tips from you guys than my several hours worth of googling. i'm going into my senior year of high school and being the good student that i hope i am, i've decided to dedicate my entire August to completing as many applications and essays/statements as possible.

i'm set on becoming an animator (interested in claymation, stop motion and 3D CA) and i've hopefully completed my final list of colleges that i'm applying to. the list is:

Emerson
CalArts
RIT
USC
RISD
Pratt Inst.
SCAD
MassArt (more of a safety since i'm a Bostonian)

i've done as much of their online applications as possible for the time being and sadly now there's no more excuses for avoiding the statements. i know basically every college is looking for something different (shoot me, really), but i was hoping that someone could help me out with tips on how i should write the statements, what colleges are looking for specifically and what topics will allow me to write the fewest statements (able to use one statement for more than one college). i attended a summer precollege course in Boston this summer so i'm already thinking about connecting that to my desire to major in animation. i'm open to anything though, really

(sorry, this post is sooo much longer than it really needs to be...)
