The Common App states that it wants "principle extracurricular... activities" listed under the "Activities Section."

So where is the best place to put significant activities and fairly prestigious camps that didn't last very long such as a summer camp program that only lasted a week ? Is the only place to put them under extracurricular activities? Or would it be better to put it under academic honors or attach a separate resume?

Under the “Education” part, there’s a section that says:
If you have taken any courses, including online courses, at a College or University for credit or have attended any enrichment programs hosted on a college campus since 9th grade, check this box:

and then

List all colleges/universities at which you have taken courses, including online courses, for credit or attended an enrichment program. Include the titles of courses taken and grades earned in the Additional Information area of the Writing section.

so if the things you attended were at a college, you could list them there. I’m not sure what to do about non-college affiliated programs. I attended Michigan Math & Science Scholars, Summer@Brown, and SAAST at UPenn, and put those all under that section.
