Help on CR

<p>Hi! I'm a newbie here so please be kind!</p>

<p>Well I just got my scores for June 3rd SAT I
and...it's a little disappointing.
It was my first time taking it so I don't mind really...
but I am worried about Critical Reading section.
I got 500. :( :(</p>

<p>If you know any good SAT prep books
that focus especially on CR section
or if you have any good tips to give me
PLEASE do tell me!!</p>

<p>Buy the Barron's 24oo book; it's loaded with advice</p>

<p>I'd suggest the following:</p>

<p>(a) Buy some CR workbooks Barrons has one, Kaplan has one and Peterson has one they're all pretty good.</p>

<p>(b) Read magazines like Time magazines and other magazines that get high ratings to increase your vocab.</p>

<p>(c) Read newspapers like Wall Street Journal, New York Times, ect.</p>
