Help on deciding which college is the right 'fit' for me??!!

Hi Everybody!

I’ve applied to the following schools:
Duke, Stanford, MIT UChicago, UPenn, Cornell, Columbia, Northwestern and UMich-Ann Arbor.
I’ve already been accepted to UMich and I’m waiting for the rest. All of them will release decisions in early to mid-May, but I’m not going to have too much time to make a decision/ visit schools because I currently live outside the US( but I’m a US greencard holder) and my family will be moving. (My dad already lives in the US).
I know that this is pure speculation, and I’d be incredibly fortunate to be accepted at any one of these universities, let alone multiple, especially as a transfer, but it’d be wonderful if you guys could help me sort of, organize these universities in order of how well they fit my goals.(I’m not chasing prestige)
I’m broadly interested in Computer Science/ Comp Engineering, Economics, and Renewable Energy, and will likely major in one of these areas, maybe even double major! Also, I’m looking for small class-size and personal attention for undergrads. Also, I’m very keen on doing research as an undergrad, so undergraduate research opportunities is a priority.
Thanks a lot!

Wait–haven’t those schools already announced their admissions? Are you a transfer applicant? This is odd.

Yes. I am a transfer applicant who will be a rising sophomore. I’m sorry I didn’t mention that in the post!

Actually, i did mention that in the post!- But I guess I should have been more clear. Sorry again!!

Wait until you have your acceptances to decide what to do. Many of the top schools take very few transfers.

Yeah I know, but I just want to get opinions on the colleges and know which ones will truly align with my interests. Like I said, I won’t be able to visit them mostly, so it would be great if you could comment on their personalities and whether they will be a good fit.

Not that it matters, but didn’t you do this BEFORE you applied?

True. I did do extensive research. But I guess nothing beats the perspective of someone who’s actually been on campus, or even studied the same subjects at that university, right? That’s what I hoped to know…

Bump…
