Help on English Section

<p>I'm prepping for the April 14th ACT, and right now the only section I need some help in is the English section.</p>

<p>Are there any books or resources that I can use to improve my grammar so that I could do better on the section. I currently own the PR's Cracking the ACT, and the Real ACT Guide.</p>

<p>P.S. Any general grammar workbook should work well, as I could also use help on the SAT writing section.</p>

<p>Google The Elements of Style--there are several free copies online. It's a good, concise book on basic grammar and rhetorical skills. It basically covers it all for the ACT. I always skim it before doing the ACT and I've gotten 34s on the English section every time.</p>

<p>My English teacher recommended that as well, so I'll check it out. Is there anything in a more workbook like format that I could use?</p>
