i need some help here. I took the TOEFL CBT on July 29th and sent my scores to 4 universities after the test. I would like to know how to send my scores to other universities. I checked out the TOEFL website and it aint user friendly at all.

Your TOEFL score report was mailed to you, right? It's just a sheet of paper on which you can see your scores and on the back there are instructions about sending scores. I think you just have to write the codes of the colleges you want your scores to be sent to and then mail the report back to ETS.

Yeah, I really found the website hard to understand too. So I phoned the testing center where I had taken the TOEFL and asked the woman about it. She gave me a number to call...which is the same number they give you if you want to pay extra to order score reports by phone.

it's $17 per extra report. i don't think it's worth it if you already have good SATs. just mention it in ur app or sth. well, unless the college is adamant on gettin an authentic report!

oh yeah, TOEFL.... i almost forgot i have to take that... great, as if there aren't enough standardized tests already...

how is it, anyway? tough? easy? annoying?

i have english literature for my A levels... will most colleges still want to see my TOEFL score? Also, if my critical reading score is good enough, do i need to sit for TOEFL? any minimum cut off score to let me skip the TOEFL? what's a good score?

TOEFL... i like the way the word sounds though :)

Some universities do waive the TOEFL if you get above a certain amount for the CR of SAT I. But it's an individual thing and not all universities do this, so it's best to go to each college's website about that. I think for some of these universities it's 660 for CR.

Some universities have a minimum of 213 for CBT, others have 250... Depends...

a 250 + in toefl is safe ...else not.i wud not go into more discussion abt this coz the other thread has already discussed a lot abt this in gr8 detail..

a small detail though:::Boston University does not allow waiver of toefl
