Hi!
I'm a freshman at Lakewood High School and i'm looking to get on the right track. I have a 4.0, I'm doing my schools community services club, and I have been excepted into my schools french exchange program. My grandfather also attended Yale, so I think that would also make me a legacy. But I want to make sure that my chances on getting into Yale are the highest they can be, or to any Ivy League school for that matter. Any advice? Especially anyone who is already attending an Ivy League school?

In general, for any top school, these would be my suggestions
Take the hardest classes and get the best grades
Find a couple of activities to be involved in and be a leader (you don’t need to be involved in 20 EC’s)
Do things in HS that show you have a passion, drive and determination
Make a difference to someone because you were there.
Don’t tie yourself to one school, enjoy what you do in HS and let the chips fall were they may. good luck
