Which housing plan is the best?
should i get resident hall or plazas?
which resident hall is prettiest? newest? how about plaza?
which one is the best?
im female, want bathroom that's not shared by both boys and girls.
prefer individual bathrooms..
what about suite?
geeeeeeez i wish i can go on a tour, but it's all full =(

First off, most first years will be in triples in halls or plazas this coming year because Sproul will be closed for rennovations. With that in mind, it's not even worth considering suites because there's a VERY slim chance that you'll be placed in one. From what you said, it sounds like you're looking to be in a plaza with private bathrooms. (And for future reference, there aren't any coed restrooms on the Hill.) Also to note, first years do not get to choose which building they live in, just which type (ie plaza or hall.) Anyway, newest buildings are Rieber Terrace, Rieber Vista, and Hedrick Summit then, De Neve. Oldest is Dykstra. The others are in between.

By the way, later in summer the housing tours will be open to more people. Right now, we're just concerned about giving tours to those signed up on Welcome Day, AAP Day, Engineering Day and etc. But, you should definitely keep an eye out for housing tours to start on the housing website. I'm sure they'll post information about it as soon as its available.
