I was suspended for three days because of my foolish decision to use alcohol at the Homecoming Dance.

It was an irresponsible and an immature decision on my part, and I really regret what I did. It was my first, last and only disciplinary action and I plan to keep it that way.

I betrayed my own principles, and of course what I did was against my parents’ and my school’s rules. I’m slowly but surely earning back my parents’ trust and of course the school’s trust.

I am fully committed to being loyal to my principles and remaining in good standing with my parents and any school I attend.

If I received that letter, the first thought in my head would be, “if it is against his principles, then why did he do it?”. Might be best to say it was a lapse of judgment on your part and leave it at that.

Many weeks ago I requested that my transcript be sent to several colleges.

Due to the suspension I had an F last week, in one class, because I couldn’t participate in presenting my project. However, I made it up today so my grade is going to be much better.

But the transcripts were sent today! So the F will appear in my transcript yet by tomorrow it’s going to be most likely B+/A-

Ugarit- You might ask to see your transcript. While I know it varies by school, my son’s school’s transcript only shows end of course grade- nothing quarterly. So if yours is similar, the last grades they will be getting at this point is end of junior year. Then in January, the school will send a mid year report.

Glad to hear it. Most everyone makes a mistake at some point- but it appears that you are taking the situation seriously and not trying to shift blame. That is a much bigger mistake and one that most people try. So I wish you good luck. Let us know how it turns out for you.
