I know some of you that did the practice tests in the blue book got an 800. There were some problems I just had no idea how to solve. It would be great if you could help explain some to me. I can Pm you the problems and the page # they are on. I would really appreciate you help! Thanks! BTW, I'm taking the SAT for the first time in May, so i'm cramming lol

haha sweet.. ok well i guess i can post some of the math questions and whoever wants to help can just post a reply here :)

There are 75 more women than men enrolled in Linden College. If there are n men enrolled, then, in terms of n, what percent of those enrolled are men?
answer= (100n)/(2n+75)%

IF 18 square root 18= r square root t, where r and t are positive integers and r>t, which of the following could be the value or rt?
A. 18
B. 36
C.108
D.162
E.324

the answer is C
(I can't find the symbol for square root so i hope that made sense)

I have a few other problems but they involve pictures and i'm definitely not talented enough to draw it on here lol

for the first one the easiest way would be to make up numbers

second one: just have to simplify the square root.

18sqRT(18)
= 18 * 3sqRT(2)
=54sqRT(2)
54= R
2=T
54*2 = 108 (C)

For the first one you have two groups, men: define as n and women: defined as n + 75. Therefore you want to find just the men out of the entire group so that would be n/(n+n+75), then you multiply by 100 for percent.

Thanks for replying!
