Help on RIN / Admitted Student Website

The forms that I need to return for enrollment, housing, etc. ask for my Rensselaer Identification Number (RIN). I don't see that number anywhere in my acceptance letter. Does anyone know where I find this number or do I need to contact Admissions? Anyone else having trouble accessing the Admitted Student Website? When I try to go there from the application status screen showing my acceptance, it just loops me back to the same page.

This is going back a year but I think my son got his RIN from one of the (snail mail) letters he got from RPI when he was accepted. If you have received letters from them, see if the RIN is in one of them.

When you clicked on to see if accepted, there was a letter of acceptance with a number on the left above the date (my son's was a 66 xxx number).

Click at the bottom left ("multiple letters on this account") of the Congratulations screen and it will have a link to the letter of acceptance.

It is also on the hard copy letter sent in the mail.

I think it's also on the financial aid letter.

As a side note, RPI RIN numbers always start with "660" and are 9 numbers total. This has been true with all previous classes as far back as I know and should still be true for incoming freshmen as well.

I got mine from an e-mail that they sent earlier.
when you find it either a) memorize it fast or b) remember where you found it.
