Oops! That was my back up schedule. Besides, What's wrong with a 2 hr gap? I can come back to dorm and play WoW or Starcraft or something. Anyway, here is the REAL desired schedule:

if you play wow for "just" 2 hours you might as well just skip the rest of your classes for the day

^Best. Advice. Ever.

LOL I was just kidding about WoW. Rate my schedule though plz :)

IRAN.4,

Like it was previously stated so many times, what may work for one person may not work for another. If that's what you want so be it, you have to find what works for you. Everyone is different...

Yeah I know, but I'm just trying to find out if my schedule is the convential, average, typical UCSD schedule.

why would you want to be average? DARE to be different!

sorry, rush of the you-can-do-anything elementary school mindset coming in.

That's cute but can you answer my question?

How is that for you? Your schedule really seems to waste Tuesday and Thursday.

Well what do you want me to do with Tues and Thurs? One class a day....is nothing. And they're both discussions...I don't understand why that'd be a bad thing

You don't understand. Workload wise it is nothing. But when you plan your day, (Study, party, work, etc) you will have to do it around this one class. It's just not worth it in my opinion.

But it's only 50 mins!

Yeah it's 50 minutes. But say you want to go to the beach. Are you going to go to the beach, come back for 50 minutes, then leave again? Will you work five hours, come back for 50 minutes, go back for another two hours? Plus some days you will end up just sitting somewhere waiting for that one class, so you can go to sleep.

oh man, it seems my questions on my 2nd post was completely ignored. :(

it would be cool if anyone here can give me some helpful advise. i would appreciate it. thanks, guys.

One quarter, I had only one class on Tuesdays, and I hated it. It was at 5 oclock or something, and I NEVER wanted to go it when the time came... If you are going to have only class on a certain day, I recommend making it early so it doesn't interfere. It may seem like a good idea to have a day with only one class, but after a day of lounging and not being in a lecture hall, the very last thing you will want to do is go to class...

ihavenolife, I have heard that POLI10 is pretty easy if you just keep up with the reading... but have you checked ratemyprofessor??? I think the reason you're question was being ignored is that most of the current students in the forum are math/science majors, and have not really taken the non-math/science classes you asked about...

Yeah, sorry. I don't have to take any of those classes and don't recall a friend talking about them offhand.

i remember a friend taking A polisci class, not sure if it was poli10. he was a big party guy, didn't go to lecture, didn't read any of the books, bs'ed his final (all essays) and walked out with a B. but maybe he's one of those people we all envy who can work like that.

I'm one of those people ^

curse you math! curse you science! why must you bring such suffering to me even through the internet? haven't you ruined my life enough in high school?! now you are enslaving mankind by tempting college students!!
