Hey guys,

I'm a sophomore at City University of NY Honors College. My home college is CUNY Baruch College, which has one of the more well known undergraduate business programs. I applied for Baruch through CUNY Honors College, which is a fairly new program. My year consists of about 300 other students, with one of them being the Intel Science 1st place winner (CUNY Honors College is most proud of that.)
I want to transfer because I feel like I'm not challenged enough. I feel that the program that I am in didn't live up to my expectations of it. Don't get me wrong though, my class has many talented students, who had previously applied to the Ivy's but just chose to stay in the NYC.

What do you think my chances are on getting into either Boston College or Washington U. in St. Louis?

I currently have a 3.97 GPA, in the Investment Banking Club at my school, and also obtained a high demanded internship during my freshman summer at New York Life, the mutual insurance company.

My average in highschool was a 93, and my SAT Score (the old one) was a 1300 flat. I had previously applied to WashU. but got waitlisted. Will that help my chances that they previously considered me?

Please help me out. I love NYC, but sometimes it gets too depressing here. I commute in and out the city day after day for a total of 2.5 hours a day. I also feel like the city is like a free-for-all where it's just everyone for themselves. Its too much hustle and bustle for me to handle right now. I feel too alone here, even though I attend as many activities and club meetings that my school has to offer. I want the true college experience, get away from home, and get involved in intramural sports, etc (Maybe I should write my transfer essay on this, does anyone have an opinion?) Its hard to do that at a commuter school like mine.

Thanks Guys! I really need this.
