I completed my FAFSA and CSS but most of my colleges still require me to send my W-2 and Tax Return Forms.
How am I supposed to turn them in? Would I send them an email with an attachment or send it by mail? Also, can someone clarify what IDOC is?

Thanks :-*

You have to check the finaid website for each school to see how they want the doc sent. Some use IDOC which is an agency which collects mailed in documents, scans them and then transmits the scans to colleges. But each college has it’s own process. If you don’t understand a particular school’s process, contact the finaid office to be sure you’re doing it right. Have you received any emails from any schools giving you their directions for doing this?

I have talked to one school that requires sending in W-2 and Tax Return. The FA office said they will notify us when they have processed the financial aid package and tell us to send in those forms by mail with the student ID# on it. Each school may be slightly different though.

Thank you so much ! I haven’t gotten any instructions from any colleges yet. I think I will contact the colleges that don’t participate in the IDOC individually.
