<p>My school has recently switched to the Cambridge program (which I am completely unhappy about) and my choice of AP English turned into AICE English. I didn't want this, but I decided to stay. However, the focus on the class is actually different, and just everything about Cambridge makes me unhappy, plus there are students in my class that my teacher spends more time on than others, and others that don't want to be there, and make things difficult to learn.</p>
<p>I was thinking of switching to honors, and since I was going to pay for the AP Exam anyways, still do that. How bad will this look? I really need to get out of that class, not just for the reasons above, other personal reasons as well. But when I think about switching, I feel like colleges will look at me and consider me a dumb student. Opinions?</p>
