help! online economics crisis

Ok. Because I need economics to graduate and I didn't want to take it during the school year, I decided to take it in an online summer course by the county. I thought it was supposed to be a breeze and definitely easier than taking it at school, but it is awful!

I swear I get all the quizzes right, but I get like B's and C's on them. The grading system is awful. If there was a 20 question test, I would get like 18 right and then it would come up as an 18% on the gradebook, and my grade becomes like super low. Even worse is the teacher, who doesn't check anything and is super mean.

I'm in jeopardy here. I'm ranked 7-9th right now in my class. And I need to stay in the top 10. But I'm afraid this class will bump me out of it. Do yall recommend I drop out of this course and just take it during the school year?

someone answer this quick!!!!!!!!!! i'm in desparate need because i need to decide whether or not i will go to school tomorrow and drop out of summer school and put econ into my fall schedule!!!

isabella your girlfriend or something? anyway if it's me and I know I can't bring it up either by parental helps or guide books or whatever, I wouldn't jeopardize your rank then I would definitely drop it

lol, isabella is me. but anyways, do you think high schools will let you drop out of an online summer class and totally disregard what you get in it? plus i don't know if it's too late to add econ into my senior schedule...

i'm soooo scared... i want to do early decision... so then the school would see my avg after junior year, which isn't bad. but i don't want some stupid summer course to ruin my chances...

in my school, if you drop out of a class (a real one) after the schedule changing stuff it's a whooping F on the report card w/out regard to your grade in the class before dropping but then my school doesn't have the online classes so it's up to your school's policies and stuff, I'm pretty sure most schools let you change your schedules at the beg of the year if there are spaces in the class and if it fit in your schedule, you should try a book to help you if all else fail

well i dont know where you're taking it, but at flvs you can drop out within the first 28 days if you don't like the course

FLVS follows the grade forgiveness policy so if you drop it outside the first 28 days, the F will remain in your transcript but when you retake it, it's not going to factored into your GPA.

Yea, at FLVS you can drop out within the first 28 days without penalty. If you wait more than 28 days and decide to drop, you'll get a F.

how did we conclude it was FLVS? I'm sorry.

I didn't see her location....

FLVS is probably the biggest virtual school, so I was just assuming.

so is this flvs or not?

if it is, just tell the teacher to check the gradebook, and it'll be ok, hopefully

If this is Apex...just drop out and don't report that you took this class to your school.

i'm not sure if it's from flvs. i think it's from ecollege???? i don't know.. but i have decided to drop. i just wasted $300 but i HAVE to drop out... it's ridiculous.

flvs macro sux as well.
