Help! Optimistic but lacking in GPA

I’ve recently finished my Junior Year and I’m now working on preparing my things for applications this fall.
My stats:
a 3.47 (weighted)
30 on the ACT
fairly rigorous course load
Native American Ethnicity

EC’s:
California 4-H State Ambassador
4-H Summer Camp Youth Director (Volunteer)
Los Angeles County 4-H All-Star
San Fernando Valley 4-H Club President
Health Club President
(School) Ambassadors Vice President
LINK Leader
Dance Team and Dog Care Project’s Teen Leader

And I’m having a hard time deciding on my top choice.
Some schools I like include NYU, Pepperdine, Emerson, Northeastern, but I LOVE Brown and Princeton, in a hopeful but tragic sort of way.
Do you think there’s any chance?

Thanks!

Well, Native American goes a long way, but that GPA is a bummer. What is it unweighted? Also, please be more specific on number of Honors and AP courses taken, and how many you planning on taking. ACT is good. Low for the Ivies, but good overall. I think it would be a miracle if you got into Brown or Princeton. Not trying to be mean, but I doubt you want it sugar coated either.

The schools are your list are pretty different. What is it you are looking for, besides journalism and Intl. Studies (from your other post). What is your ideal school in terms of size, location, sports, greek scene, weather, etc. etc. That will help people help you create a good list.

apply just for the hell of it but probably no…

gah, sorry it took so long. thanks for chancing mine, by the way. however, i’m afraid your situation-- at least for the schools i know about-- isn’t looking too hot. Brown and Princeton are almost definite rejections-- however, their admissions are always slightly weird. Plus, being native american definitely helps. don’t know much about the other ones, and you had to help me out with NYU so I can’t really say for sure. either way, apply for the hell of it; you never know if you’ll get in. for all you know, you could be just what they’re looking for
