<p>I am a junior in high school who just started the IB.
This is my first set of predicted grades from my report card:
Literature HL - 6
History HL - 7
Economics HL - 7
Biology HL - 7
Math SL - 7
Mandarin SL - 7</p>
<p>I have almost always ranked 2nd in my grade throughout high school.
My extracurriculars are consistent and significant (MUN SecGen, president of clubs etc.).</p>
<p>I just received my first SAT I score:
Critical Reading - 650
Math - 710
Writing - 730 (Essay: 11)</p>
<p>I wasn't expecting much as this was my first ever test and I have chances to retake, but I can't help but feel a bit disheartened. My goal is to attend an Ivy League university.</p>
<p>What can I do to improve my SAT scores? What should I be getting? How did you guys do in your first SAT?</p>
