I would like to be in a city, campus with good resources, not too much of a partying scene maybe????

Can anyone ease my anxiety by helping me out a bit.

Maybe NYU

With 247 posts to your name you already know your record is very good. What is your home state? Will you need financial aid?

Boston, MA: Boston College (reach), Boston University, Northeastern University

no I won’t need financial Aid.

What would you want to major in?

*decent public school, send about 2/3 kids out of 300 students to ivies per year
*

What? Are you saying that your schools sends 200 kids to ivies every year, and there are only 300 kids in the senior class??? I don’t believe that. The rankings of most of those kids would be in too low of quartiles.

I think he means 2 or 3 kids.

GW, American, Pitt, Northwestern, Northeastern, Loyola MD, Villanova

Ar the moment, laughable as it is -I’m truly not sure about a major. Maybe bioengineering/medicine/history/poli sci

Pizza girl, you are correct i mean 2 or 3 kids out of about 291-300 class 9 some didn’t graduate,so only approx. number) also, the rank is in the top 8-10 percent of my class.

lol…2 or 3 kids! That makes more sense! :)

Stop thinking that your stats are abysmal; they’re really very good in the real world.

The CC chance forum is not the real world; stop reading it.

It’s not a problem that you don’t know your major yet. Many, probably most, incoming college freshmen don’t, and of those who do, a good number change their minds.

There are around 3,000 accredited colleges and universities in the U.S., and your stats are above average for about 98% of them.

Washington DC: American University, George Washington University

Consider Case Western in Cleveland.

bioengineering/medicine/history/poli sci

With such a wide variety of possible majors, it’s best to choose a college that offers a wide breadth of programs.

Since you haven’t taken a SAT yet (If I’m correct by reading that those are projected scores, not actual scores), it’s hard to say where, yet.

BTW…take the ACT, too. Some kids score higher on one test than the other, and colleges will accept whichever one is higher.

But…since money is not an issue…

Santa Clara
Villanova
UIUC
UMich
Purdue
UT Austin
UW Madison
Clemson
Auburn
Boston U

GW, Lehigh, BC, BU, Tulane, UMich, UMD-College Park

sorry no real safeties on the list above, but for the nearly reaches to reaches, i think those would be appropriate.

thanks guys…
bump

Clemson university!!!
