Although I have already filled out the academic interest section under future plans in the common app, I am seriously confused. People have told me that I should put the major offered in the school as my academic interest. So the question is can I put pre-med as one of my academic interest, if it is offered as a major? Schools such as Notre Dame and Lehigh do offer pre-med as major, according to the shcool website. Also, if by any chance, although i didn't, I put pre-med as one of my academic interest, despite the fact that the school does not offer pre-med as major, what would be the consequence? Thank you for the help!</p>
<p>I think it's better putting the major of your choice if the school HAS it. If not, it might jeopardize your chances. My two cents.</p>
