Okay, so it's past the deadline, but a couple days ago I realized that I had made a few mistakes on the parents' information in my Common App (which all of my colleges will see!).
I put down the wrong professions and employers. It's past the deadline, so I can't just tell these colleges that I have to fix my app. I am waiting for them to notice that there is something fishy when they receive my CSS Profile (which contains all of the real information!). Then they will tell me there is something wrong.

But then what? Is this a serious problem and will it cost me my admission, or financial aid, for whatever reason? I can't imagine why it would be so drastic, but if it's possible, just tell me, so that I can cry myself to sleep for the next four years.

Or, do you think that these colleges will even notice? I mean, with so many applicants, they could just look at the financial aid forms for the real info...
