If the finances can’t be sorted out…see if Brown will give you a one year leave of absence. The time could be used to reconcile the financial situation. …o come up with a plan B.
While I agree that medical school is not a top priority right now…please please…think twice before borrowing the full cost to attend Brown for three years…with the idea that you will also be borrowing for medical,school. That is a staggering amount of debt to be considering.
You won’t be able to borrow your way thru Brown. No one is going to lend that much to a student. As a sophomore, you can only borrow $6500.
Who is the benefactor? A parent? A relative? Did you ever apply for FA?

All med schools in the US are good. Don’t worry about that. No need to focus on a “top” med school. Anyone is lucky to go to any med school.
