Hello! I will be visiting Wake Forest for the first time as well as interviewing in the upcoming weeks. This will be my only college interview. I have been trying to research the main topics I should know, but I'm still looking! What are the typical questions? What are some of the weirdest questions you've been asked at Wake? Anything helps! Thanks so much!

Search on this forum practice interview questions, I just saw a thread specifically about wake.
Good luck, most said it was casual and not stressful

Very casual, not stressful. They asked D about books read and spent 1/4 of time discussing these books, about her EC’s, leadership positions and what were difficult situations as a leader, how she handled lazy staff, about family, goals, & other universities she was looking at.

I was told by friends many typical questions, however none were asked. Instead it was a very down to earth conversation with questions that really pertained to my interests. I felt a bit weird coming out of it because I controlled the conversation completely. I may have been in a unique spot considering I talked about my own semester abroad and individual research with International relations.

After some typical chit-chat, my son’s interviewer asked him about his favorite HS class. It was “Issues of American Society.” When asked why he liked it, Son mentioned something about poverty, social classes, death penalty, etc. The interviewer then probed more on those topics and the two them ended up talking about both sides of the death penalty for over 30 minutes. Son thought it was great.
