HELP Please: FOREIGN language decision!!! (Latin)

Guys!

So I took Latin 1 and 2 online through FLVS. Needless to say, I cruised through it thanks to the "Open in new window" feature which allowed me to use google and/or another part of the course and/or the online translator as much as I wished.

But now, I am on to Latin 3. Still on FLVS.

And Latin 3 is hardddd. So far, I am in the course 2 months. I have completed about 4% of the first semester only. I have an F.

It is very very hard.

Truly, I don't want to take it. But I am worried how would that look on the transcripts: "She took Latin 1 and then Latin 2... and then??? Gave up?"

Aside from Latin, I have taken AP Spanish Language and AP Spanish Literature. I got a 5 on both and straight As in the courses. But then again, Spanish is spoken in my home. So I don't think that makes it count.

I have gotten straight As in both Latin 1 and 2 before. I even got Summa Cum Laude in the National Latin Exam for Latin 1 (I forgot to take it for Latin 2) but Latin 3 so far is.... impossible. =(

Should I drop it? How bad would this look?

Thanks!!!!!!!

I don't think you should drop it. I took Latin I, tested out of Latin II, then the III/IV class was combined into AP Latin: Vergil so I missed III as well. I pretty much had no preparation for it, but I cruised through since it comes pretty easily to me. What exactly is so much harder about the III curriculum?

OH wait I just realized it was you Metdeth :] lol I thiiiink you already knew I did all that.
Anyway. Don't drop it. But what's the trouble now?

Also.. do you like it? Or totally hate it? If you're not passionate about it, you might as well drop and maybe explain it to the colleges that you realized it wasn't for you and just stuck with Spanish instead... Hm. Idk.

Drop it.

.

Drop it like it's hot if it won't show up on your transcript... or unless you plan on majoring in language.
