Hi! I’m from a school outside the US, and my teachers are unfamiliar with the admissions. However, they’ve agreed to fill my recommendation and counsellor’s forms online. Now I need to know if my teachers complete this work online, can my school send my official transcripts through mail (printed on the school letterhead), or should the transcripts be uploaded by them online? Please someone who’s done this, let me know soon!
Are you using the common core app?
I have the same problem,…When I use the common app,…they ask for counsellor recommendations,…But who is a counsellor?,…My school has one counsellor but she has got absolutely nothing to do with college admissions, me, or letters of recommendation. What do I do now?
also, my counsellor can upload all my transcripts from 9-12 right? or do we need to mail some?
Either is fine and, indeed, you may have no choice. You say you are from a school outside the US; if your transcript is not in English, most colleges will require an English translation in addition to your official transcript.
Different schools call them by different titles; it may be dean/principal/provost/administrator. It is an official more highly ranked than a teacher.
