Help please. international student question.

Hi Guys.I'm from iran.
I want to study as an International undergraduate student in United States, and I want to get a scholarship(metrit-based).
What are the requirements I need?

First you need a high school diploma that qualifies you to go to college in the US. Do your best to finish in the top 10% of your class. (10% is a hard cut-off. 11% won’t do.) You’ll also need to take an American college admissions exam: you can choose between the ACT and the SAT. Aim for a 99th percentile score. 34 points on the ACT or 2300 points on the SAT should qualify you for most academic scholarships.

The most generous scholarships (e.g. tuition+room+board+textbooks) require some significant extra-curricular accomplishment in addition to solid grades and test scores. For example, you could be a competitive athlete or do well in the international math olympiad or run a community-service organization.

Anyhow, the advice above is for the most generous scholarships, which are also the hardest to get. Partial scholarships, e.g. covering 50% of your tuition fees, are easier to get.
