Alright I have a question. What colleges should I apply to or do you think I can get into. I really messed up in high school not doing anything, fooling around and stuff. I’m a jr and I have around a 1.6 gpa ya I know pretty bad. I don’t want to go to community college I promised my parents I wouldn’t. I have a 1350 equilivant on my PSAT yah really bad and around a 20 I think it was on a act equilivant exam. I"m taking my first real SAT tommorrow hopefully I can get around a 1400-1500 and ACT on june 11th. I play sports but I want to know is their hope. What extracurriculars should I do in the summer and do I still have a chance to get into college even with my senior grades. I got a 1.6 this year and had a 2.2 9th and 10th grade. I regret it now shoulda worked harder in HS.

There are some 4 year colleges that are not very competative that you could probably get into w/ the good scores. A 1350 is very high for many colleges. It would be a good idea to take college prep classes and do well--if you really turn around senior year, and have a counselor/administrator who would point it out, and if you write an explanation in your application, i would say you have hope. On the other hand, it might not be so bad to go to community college for a year or two and transfer. Lots of people do and it saves money in addition to giving you a chance to show better academics. Good Luck!

Do you mean a 1350 out of 2400 or a 1350/1600? if it's the former, I would really go out and get a prep book or ask for help improving my score. Try harder in school as well; that's all there is too it.

There are less selective four year schools; many state universities have high acceptance rates, and some decent four year colleges have 100% acceptance rates.

1350 out of 2400. I'm taking them tommorrow again I'm trying for a 1500/2400
