HELP!! Please solve my queries.

@tastycles
I want to apply for AP Calc BC and Physics B but my passport is taking much time to apply.

^^ Apply in ‘tatkal’ quota. I applied and got my passport in 6 days. ;)

Physics B isn’t considered as difficult as either of the Physics C exams, since it does not have calculus. Keep that in mind while picking.

@tastycles
I was just confused about physics B and C.
I will be applying for physics C.

also how much time should I devote for Physics C preparation.
And also tell me centres for AP exam, no problem to go anywhere in India but please suggest me somewhere around Mumbai.

Cathedral in Fort.

There’s a website that College Board set up for this, Google it.

Physics C needs a good month of prep at the least. Less if you’ve been preparing for IITJEE or the like.

can you please share the link

akietta, I will reply to ur message here. You fill the tatkal form at the nearest passport office and pay the extra bucks( 3k more) and Bingo!!, you will get your passport in days.

Btw, Don’t you need to have a passport to give the SATs??

I live in Mumbai and there are many people who want passport.
I checked passport website and it says that you will need certificate from high officials and they should be contact with you and know you.
I dont have any big officials in contact.

^^Sorry, I can’t help you with that. I think you should talk to your parents or go to the passport office to get the best advice or I am sure that here are others who are far more experienced than me and can help you :)

Dude I dont know about Mumbai but in U.P. there are Dalaals and they do it all, they will charge a commission but will get you the passport asap.

@mrinal2207
how you got passport and how much time it takes to get passport.
what procedures you follow.
and for SAT how you have done registration. when i go for registering sat it asks for school code, and my school is not affiliated with college board.

in mumbai there are dalaals but they charge 10k and dont guarentee of getting passport in days.

I got it in 6 days…Its better to give them the money bcoz as far as I know, the normal procedure can take months!!

Even for registering for AP you will need passport , and last date for registration is in a week from now ‘22nd March’ which will require you to fill in your passport number,so right now u are not left with any other option than to pay money.

I was in a similar condition when I had to write SAT’s for the first time, and had to pay dalaal the commission to get the work done, and he did it in 6 days.

I didn’t know that registering for AP exams required one to have a passport :confused:

My school just gave me a single page form, asked me to tick the subjects I wanted to take and pay 50 Euro / subject.

When I took AP’s last year ,passport wasn’t required for registration but this year the AP registration India (website) asks you to enter your passport no (so u do require a passport)

It is very difficult to get passport in days because Mumbai is very populated and many people apply for passport.

I think you can get “Tatkal” Passport in 10 days!
Without passport, they wo’t allow you to sit for APs!

The tatkal website says it may take (possible) 3 days to get a passport.

"Under tatkal passport validity rules, you may get fresh new passport within 3 days of your application.
