HELP!! Please solve my queries.

to apply in tatkal Annexure “I” and ANNEXURE ‘F’ certificates in needed.

I am also suffering from Crohn’s Disease, will this affect my career and admission in U.S college.
Should I consider this as advantage or disadvantage.

Hey guys, you DON’T need a passport for AP registration. I just registered for APCSA last week without a passport, all they asked me was to bring my school ID(and my UID).They just want a “legit” identification of yourself. So,don’t freak out over the whole passport thing :)

Passport is required before your AP exams in May, and not for registration for APs!
Find out the procedure for “Tatkal Passport.”

International Student Admission Statistics at MIT.
According to my study
3,930 students apply as freshman for fall 2011 at MIT
and accepted 147 i.e 3.74% was the acceptance rate.
And for Transfer
459 students apply for fall 2011 at MIT
and accepted 18 i.e acceptance rate was 3.92%
So how you think which one is tougher.

^^ That is just for internationals, I didn’t see the stats for transfer students. Correct me if I am wrong, I think that MIT accepts only accept about 20 transfer students.

@Mrinal2207

[MIT Office of the Provost, Institutional Research](http://web.mit.edu/ir/cds/2011/d.html)

^^The link u gave shows only the stats for transfer applicants, acceptance rate being 3%

And that data set is for all students, not only international ones.
Ultimately, its ur choice :)

above results clearly says that only 1 student from each country can get accepted into MIT.
This means to get into MIT one should stand out of billion crowds.
Really most competitive.

akietta, the acceptance rate for all transfer applicants is 3%. Not only international ones. This compared to the acceptance rate for all freshman applicants, which is just over 10%, is very, very low.
And where does it clearly say that only one student from each country can be accepted? Please back up your statements with actual facts.

@reichstag
can you provide me the name of AP centres.

hey akietta, I PM’d you

well, if they take only one student from each country, im sorry i know the guy who got in transfer this year from India

@iamthebist
My apologize sorry.
My fate will decide in may so I am bouncing to transfer to freshman and so forth.

can I switch from Mathematics to EECS’s in transfer.
Though Caltech requires higher Maths and Physics in 1st year at college, I could not find colleges with that curriculum. If you know some colleges then please suggest me.
