I've been trying to upload a few files to submit for a music supplement. Music is a big piece of my application package - one of my essays talks about it, and it's a prominent extracurricular for me. Every time I can access the page to select files to upload, but the next screen says "We're sorry, but something went wrong. We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly."

I started uploading materials yesterday in the afternoon. It has been almost 24 hours and the system consistently displays the same message. I've also tried on multiple browsers (Safari, Chrome) and split files over 10MB into smaller segments even though it's not even close to the 40MB limit.

I doubt that the page will be fixed by midnight tonight... So what should I do?

If you are unable to upload because of a system error as of the end of today, I would send an e-mail indicating the problem (possibly including a print screen of the error message) and try uploading tomorrow. I am pretty sure that Yale will accept a late admit because of a system error. Good luck!

Then, don’t worry about it. Your music supplement will be late, but Yale will not blame you as there is a problem with the system. Call on January 2nd and talk to a real person. Right now, that’s the best you can do. Just make sure the Common App and Yale supplement have been submitted by the deadline.
