Hello,

I am working on my UC Prompt #1 Personal Statement (Describe the world you come from and how it has shaped your dreams and aspirations). I am basically talking about a specific feature of the atmosphere I've been raised in, and how it has shaped some of my personality traits, and how they have further led me to my career interest.

I want to talk about a lot of different experiences I've had that have together contributed to the 'atmosphere' I'm talking about.

However, I'm worried that accommodating all of them will make my essay a little superficial and lacking in depth. On the other hand, I'm worried that if I eliminate a few, my essay will not give a complete picture of my 'world' and that the message I intend to convey may not come through.

What would be wiser?
