<p>Agree with the CC suggestions. When you decide on which one, look at their transfer rates to UCs. Some have higher transfer rates than others. I agree with the poster who suggested USC, but if you decide English is really what you love, work really hard, get good grades and aim for UC Berkeley which has one of the top English programs in the country - (or at least it did a few years back.)
