Hi! I just got my sat subject scores back, and got a 720 on math II and 730 on Math I

I'm applying as an engineering major to Berkeley UMich USC and Vandy... Should I send both of my scores, one of them, or neither? I really thought I did better. I know it's not bad.. But for an out of state engineering major I'm not sure. They're not required at any school I'm applying to, but I know they help and are recommended at Berkeley. PLEASE help me figure this out! :(

I would send the math II, as that is a harder exam and will count for more, even though the score is 10 pts lower. We were told by several admissions reps that when a school says a score is “recommended,” what they really mean is that if you’re serious about getting in, you should send it.

Thanks! I need to know today if I should send one, both, or neither of them. For an engineering applicant to UMich and Vandy and USC, is 720 for Math 2 too low? Please help, someone!

Engineering wants to see math 2 more than anything else. Being in USC engineering,I don’t think I’ve talked to anyone with a math 2 score lower than 750…

… So you suggest that I don’t send it?

Is it possible to retake? I would try to get higher. Definitely of the two send math 2.

Anyone please give their opinion

I would not send either. More than 10% of people who take Math II get 800s so you aren’t helping yourself, especially if you got a high grade in precal.

Okay. I got like a 99 for the semester is Pre AP PreCal and have a 97 in AP Calculus BC, 100 in AP Stats, and never gotten below a 95 in any math class

So that is sufficient to a 720 on a Math 2 test?
