Help, please!

Hello all~

So, I'm currently in a dilemma. I signed up for 2 SAT Subject Tests (I used a fee waiver, so I didn't really pay for them, but that's besides the point). I was going to take Math I and Literature. I keep taking practice tests for Math I and getting 510's (which is definitely awful). I'm thinking the harsh curve is going to kill me and my college applications (I'm planning on applying to Yale SCEA next year...). Should I just not take Math I, take Lit, and then take Math II and Bio in May? I'm currently in Pre-Calc and I plan to self study with bio. Any answer is appreciated :D

I’d recommend you just take Math II tomorrow instead. You’ve already completed 1 semester of Precalculus, which should be enough to get you at least a 600.

But I honestly think I’d do better if I waited for the end of the year. My class hasn’t gotten to Trig yet, and I understand that topic is pretty widely covered on the Math II test.

Just wait then.

Well I…

guess I kind of answered my own question then…hm…thanks :D

You still have a couple of test dates left. If you’re planning on applying to Yale and getting 510s, I suggest that you wait until you can do better.

Which is why I was hesitant about taking Math I. I’m thinking I’ll do fairly well on Literature, and Math II when the time comes, so I think I’ll probably just not take Math I at all.
