Right now, I'm a junior in High School at the most prestigious school in the Mpls metro. I looked at UW semesters (autumn, winter) on its application. If I apply for Autumn term and get in, will I have to apply for winter term by September 1st (or whenever the day is)? Thanks.
p.s. I noticed for Spring term, it wasn't open to freshman. What does this mean? If you are in Winter term, are you in spring as well?

Anything term other than Autumn is for transfer students from another college. I believe you are considered with undergraduate admission. In that case you would register for the Autumn term. So the application period for you, assuming it is not changed from previous years is October 1 to December 1 (I’m applying as a out-of-state student, undergraduate of course)

We run on the quarter system, not semesters. So yes we have a Fall, Winter, and Spring quarter.

If you apply and are accepted for the Fall quarter…you are an enrolled student and do not need to reapply for subsequent quarters (as long as you actually accept and attend classes that fall quarter).
