I am really interested in this college and I wanted to know a few things...

What is the criteria like for admissions?

Do you need a lot of volunteer hours?

Is a 3.7 GPA unweighted, good enough?

What is campus like?

Where is the closest beach?

Is it a diverse community?

How is the swim program?

Is it big on school spirit?

What is something that makes the school unique?

It’s not that hard really, decent GPA (mine is 3.6 UW and 3.91W), and decent SAT (mine is 1850) and a decent PS

I left my EC blank when I applied (I personally panicked and regretted it the whole time when my admission was pending :’[ ), but i still got in…so that means it’s not weighted much.

Better than what I can do hahaha! You should be taking APs though :3

That’s quite the vague question there. I’d say it has nice weather? beautiful people etc.

HAHAHAH! the closest beach? …depends on your dorm. it can be RIGH outside of your dorm hahah. Basically, the beach is IN the campus.

about 60% Caucasians, 25-30% asians, and whatnot the rest :P

I honestly have no idea :(

The school spirit is quite fine :3

UCSB - University of Casual Sex and Beer. Give or take. Like every school, there’re parties. It’s just that in SB, the parties are more packed together and closer to the college, hence the reputation of party school. If you’re the type who’d like to stay away from parties, it’s also very possible. The people here are nice and accepting.

Hope that helped ;)

Thanks sooo much. This was super helpful!
