help, please.

Cornell is my dream school for an Animal Science undergrad, and eventually Veterinary School.
I'm a junior, have only a 3.56 UW GPA. I haven't taken my SATS.

I've volunteered for a therapeutic riding company, taken two summer courses at Cornell, done a Cornell veterinary class, been a member of 4H for 6 years, had a Public Presentation make it to regionals, and was 2nd written test score in NY state for Hippology in 07. I have a part time job and an internship at a vet, and am in all Honors/college courses.

While I am almost positive I already know the answer, please very honestly chance me. I just want to know a separate, unbiased opinion.

Got to take your SATs and make sure you are in the top 10% of your class. Your grades are kind of worrying. Get these things settled out and you may have a fair shot.

Weighted I’d be top 30, only.

Do you have any hooks?

Would I be completely stupid if I asked what that meant?

[How Hooks Influence Your College Acceptance](How Hooks Influence Your College Acceptance - Peterson's)

I’m in-state and am close with the leader of the Cornell Extension in my town.

Your instate status might help you out for CALS a little. It is highly unlikely, but you may have a shot if you apply ED and if Cornell overlooks your credentials for your passion. You really, really want to do well on the SATs and improve your grades as much as possible this year though.
