my grades for last semester were 2 As, 4 Bs, and 1C
it is now the middle of the quarter and i have straight As</p>
<p>if i dont goof up junior year, do i still have a chance to get into good UCs? (berkeley, la, irvine, sd)?</p>

i havent taken any tests yet, but my best score will most likely be in english because i've been getting (on practice ones) btwn 750-780 for each category.
right now i'm taking 4 honors courses
next semster i will have 3 Aps and 1 honors course</p>

<p>no, its not. i experienced that when i threw myself into my anatomy textbook. i'm still trying to earn it back. 12-point program.</p>
<p>I think you will do okay, but you really have to maintain your GPA by getting nearly straight A's next year, seeing how you have three AP's as compared to only four honors this year. The UC's only look at GPA from sophomore and junior years, and they weigh honor/AP courses. Be sure to score well on your SAT and SAT II.</p>
<p>You will do fine, but straight As junior year are a must, since UC GPA = those two years only, and it is capped I believe at 4.3.</p>
