<p>i'm in 9th grade right now and i really want to go to Columbia, i mean i have other choices too but this college is my top choice. so far my gpa is a 4.1 but im ranked 104/995 (low i know), um ec: french club, debate/speech team, swam for COPS for 3 years...and i'll take my first AP in 10th grade (WHAP)</p>

<p>....<em>shakes head</em> ....what do u want us to tell u really....just do the best u can and get involved w/ things you are interrested in or are good at....its not like u had to be told to do that.</p>
<p>Try to get a higher classs rank, do well on your SAT1, SAT2s, APs. Do the extracurriculars that you're passionate about. Work hard and it will pay off.</p>
<p>what adcoms want to see most is passion in your activities and a demonstrated love of learning (this is what they look for in your recommendations). SO do what you like, participate a lot in your class, and learn to love learning. The title of this thread asks for help. You don't need any help, please go enjoy your high school years. you are still a freshman</p>
<p>I didn't really learn to love learning. I'm just very curious about everything so I want to learn. I don't know how one goes about learning how to love learning.</p>
