5 AP classes: Junior Year- AP Biology 4 and AP US History 5
Senior Year: AP Literature, AP Government and Politics, and AP Enviromental Science
Sports: Volleyball (Champions last year) and Tennis
EC's: Eagle Scout, National Honor Society, President of the Cultural Awareness Club, VP of the Young Democrats, Mock Trial, Boosters, Senior Planners, Piano

Took the SATs earlier this month and I believe I got around a 1430 on the 1st two sections.</p>
<p>I assume the 3.85 is uw? Your projected SAT scores are good, EC's are ok, courseload is ok (I understand they'd like to see AP Bio, Calc, Chem, and Physics -- probably something to do with the VA high school curriculum - the 'question' they're asking is 'Has this student enrolled for the most challenging courseload possible?') Remember, it's a 'competition', so you may be giving something away, there. </p>
<p>Being OOS from a neighboring state makes it very tough to predict, but I think you'll be very competitive -- but it's likely to be a pretty competitive field. Be sure to submit a strong essay - a "me too" could easily derail you - there aren't going to be a lot of "slots" available for "Maryland Males", so it's all-too-easy to slip. But with a good, creative essay, ED, I'd say you're a "likely" admit. IMO, of course.</p>
