Help please?

So I am interested in MSU and have been since my freshmen year. I played varsity tennis for two and a half years. I have had a job through almost all of high school. I have taken 2 AP classes every year so far, and plan on taking them next year as a senior. The only thing is I have had a mid B grade average through all of school and sadly have been right in the middle (or even a little less) of my class rank. I have not taken the SAT or ACT yet but plan on taking them within a month or two. I have never been in trouble all throughout high school or even ISS. (lol i know that probably won't help) But a huge negative is that I am an out of state student. (TX)

So with a decent SAT and ACT score, do you, or any one for that matter think I am eligible for being accepted into MSU?

Honestly being an out-of-state student isn't a huge negative at all. MSU has actually been trying to increase its out-of-state population in recent years (due to more than 90% of applicants being from in-state).

I really don't know how to convert mid-B-average to gpa on a 4.0 scale. But if your converted Grade point average is ~3.2 unweighted or higher I'd say with a good SAT/ACT score you have at least a chance of getting in. And they will definitely take your AP/advanced classes into account.

Thanks!
I plan on taking both very soon, would applying early help at all?

Yes. They have rolling admissions so applying early does help.

I really really hope i get in, i would hate to go to TSU or SHSU.
