HELP! please

I submitted my common app in early October. But I was just looking over it and I realized I only listed two activities (forgot to list National Honor Society, National Merit, Virginia Math League, many IMPORTANT EC's). I know the due date is January 2nd, but is there anything I can do to let UVa know about my other EC's??

Send in a full resume.

ok…how do i go about doing that?
i guess faxing/emailing it would be the best way to send it since its past january 2nd?
and do i need to get a guidance counselor/secretary from my school to sign it or just send it in??

thanks

You can fax it, e-mail it, mail it. It’s your choice. I personally would fax it and attach a note that says the information on the common app is incomplete.

ok, I’ll fax that info in tomorrow.

Thanks db123 and vistany, y’all saved me alot of stress haha

Sorry to repeat what others have said, but faxing with a coversheet would be the best idea. They are a “paperless” office so everything is scanned electronically anyway. Plus sending it in the mail would probably delay its reading by days if not weeks.

haha yeah…i’m sure UVa, along with any other decent-sized university, is flooded with paper mail this time of the year.
rfw1, what do you think should go on the cover sheet…just a “to whom it may concern…here’s what happened…thanks…enclosure included” letter?

I would just say my resume is attached. Be sure to include any ID info you have whether it is SS # or other applicant ID. You want to make sure it gets into your folder.

Good luck.

Email it to uvaapplicationinfo@virginia.edu

Subject line: name, DOB, SIS ID (if you have that)

Ta da! Easy as that!

Thanks so much, vistany and Dean J!!!

3 more months but its worth the wait.
