Hello. I am a United States Citizen studying abroad.
I will be taking my SAT I on the 24th of January and be giving my final A' Level exams in May/June 2009. After that, I was planning on giving my SAT II exams in October/or whatever earliest date they are available.

I would please like your help in letting me know which universities I can apply to after all of this. I do not want to wait a full year and apply for the Fall 2010 admission, and seeing as I've missed most of the deadlines, I can't apply for the Fall 2009 admission.

What universities can I apply to that will offer me admission in January 2010 (spring/winter sessions)? I would like to do pre-med, so only universities that offer that. And after applying, how and when do I apply for financial aid?

Thank you so much for your help. It will be greatly appreciated.

Can you take the SAT 2s in June? Have you checked to see if there are test dates in your country then? All of your subjects will be fresh in your mind and you won't need to study to refresh yourself.

Usually around April or May there is a thread on here that lists colleges that still have space available and they are not necessarily weak colleges either. Depending on what type of college you are looking for, you may be able to get started there based just on the SAT 1 score.

Most of the tippy top colleges start only in the fall. Middlebury does have a Jan admit class (very small) but those students apply with the fall admits, not a later application time.

Does anyone know if the big state colleges have freshmen start in January?

I looked and looked and I think I found the thread I was looking for: NACAC 2008 Space Availability Survey Released. I don't know how too make it pop up here. It's last post was 5/21/08 and it's post by ClassicRockerDad on 5/12 lists a bunch of good school that still had room and would take late applications. Hope this helps you.

edit:

i noodled around a little bit. Goucher has a Feb 1st application date and they are SAT optional. If your high school transcript is very strong, you could get your application in for this year's consideration.
